AD&D Mentorship Program

This year, the Association of Deans and Directors of University Colleges and Undergraduate Studies is offering a new way to connect with your peers across the country and to grow our learning community—a Mentorship Program. We are seeking applicants for a Pilot Program to run from March 2019 to December 2019.  Apply by February 15, 2019, if you are interested in serving as a mentor or being a mentee, and you will be paired before the AD&D Annual Conference, which will take place in Wesley Chapel, Florida (near Tampa).

Our members are dynamic, experienced, caring people and we are often looking for ways to give back or learn from our peers at other institutions. We also have lots of new entrants to the University College and/or Undergraduate Studies environment who we would like to connect with more seasoned members.  Whether or not you think you qualify as a mentor or mentee, we need you!

Time commitments are up to you and your mentoring partner, though we are asking for at least a monthly check in for each mentoring pair.  Let us know what’s important to you—to learn, to share, to engage—and we will do our best to create a good fit.

Throughout the year, mentors and mentees will connect on a monthly basis; and, once before the Conference.  We’ll provide guiding topics, potential questions to address, and materials on what makes a good mentor and mentee throughout the program.

You must be an active AD&D member in order to participate.

Now, all we need is you!  Complete this form by February 15, 2019, and you’re all set!
